Your furniture purchase can be shipped by a variety of ways. For furniture that weighs very little, such as a twin headboard, we ship by UPS. For larger items (for example: a bedroom set) we ship by either Fed Ex Freight (included in the free shipped pricing) or an in-home delivery service for an additional, extra charge (see below). Fed Ex Freight usually delivers one to two weeks from the time the item has been picked up from our warehouse. We carton, shrink wrap and palletize the order to insure very little chance of damage. After the item is picked up we e-mail you with all the tracking numbers so you can follow its progress to your home. When the truck arrives, it is the responsibility of the consumer to unload and inspect the furniture before the Fed Ex driver leaves. It is very important that you check your furniture at this time for any shipping problems as you will be required to sign off on your shipment before the driver leaves. On very heavy furniture we send the furniture by a delivery truck with a lift gate to make it easier to unload however please have ample help readily available as the furniture we sell is high quality and can be very heavy.
We can also ship to Canada for an extra $50 per item. White Glove delivery is unavailable to our Canadian customers.
In-Home Delivery and Set-up
We can also send your furniture by an in-home delivery service if you so choose. This is an extra service and is not included in the free shipping price. If you need to have your purchase delivered by an in home delivery service, please e-mail me with your state and zip code for a personal quote at questions@myfurnitureplace.com This service is more time consuming and expensive, however, all the work is done for you. This is called our white glove delivery service. We take your order to an expedited delivery service where it will be sent to your area by custom furniture deliverers. The delivery company will contact you and schedule a time that they will be delivering to your area. After they arrive, they will bring your purchase into your home and set it up where you will like it. All insurance is included in your quote for this service. This service may take from to 2-8 weeks to deliver .
Customer Pick-up We welcome you to save even more money and pick up your furniture from our warehouse in Elkin, North Carolina. Most pick up customers save 10-25%! All Customer pick ups must be pre-approved and scheduled. Just call us toll free at 1-866-529-6234 or send an email to questions@myfurnitureplace.com and schedule today! Warranties All of the furniture we sell is brand new and straight from the manufacturer so the factory warranty applies to you just as if you bought it straight from them. Please note that all close-outs specials are exactly that and come with no warranty and are sold on an as-is basis only.

If you don't like your purchase just e-mail us and let us know and once approved, return it to us and we will either credit your account or give you a complete refund minus the shipping charges. Please note that it is up to you to ship the furniture back to to us for your refund. The amount refunded to you will be Minus all initial shipping charges paid by us included into the "FREE SHIPPING" furniture sale price. This can range from 10-25%.
