  • How can you sell everything much lower than other stores?

We can afford to sell everything much lower because we have a lot less overhead than most furniture stores. We have also learned that customers will come back again and again if they are treated right to begin with.

  • Why is the local pick up price less than the shipped price?

 The SHIPPED FREE price is the price you will pay if you need the furniture shipped to your home. The LOCAL PICK-UP price is the price that you receive if you decide to come to our warehouse and pick up your furniture. Please note that we will be happy to give you the local pricing if you want to use your own shipping sources.

  •   Is all your furniture new and first quality?

Yes, everything we sell is  new and straight from the factory. The furniture is still in the original boxes. Absolutely No seconds or repaired items.

  •  Do you have a catalog of more items available?

We have a catalog of furniture of many more items on CD. Just e-mail us catalog@myfurnitureplace.com  with your address and we will be happy to send one to you.

I have ordered furniture but it is not in stock. What now?

    Because we are also a walk-in retail store as well as an internet store, sometimes we may be out of stock on something. This is an unusual situation and is usually rectified within a few days. We will notify you immediately if something is out of stock.

  •   I have ordered some furniture. How do I track it?

After your purchase has been shipped, we will e-mail you with the tracking numbers from the freight companies so you can track its progress to your home. We are always available to assist you with any questions you may have.

  •   How long will it take to get my furniture?

Most orders are shipped and delivered within three weeks depending on the type of service you have requested. Please note, however, that we are an actual retail store and have many walk-in customers so the item that you are looking at can be temporarily out of stock. This is an unusual situation that usually can be rectified in a few days or weeks, depending on the manufacturer. If this happens to you, we will immediately notify you to let you know and offer whatever recourse is necessary to appease the situation. For more information please see the SHIPPING  page.

  •   Do you charge sales tax on your furniture?

We charge 7% sales tax to North Carolina residents.

  •  Ok, I have bought the furniture. What about warranties, damage, etc....
